This top iron assembly is manufactured to fit all Ford Roadsters from 1928 thru 1932, and will probably fit other makes of Roadsters as well. The kit is also designed to fit Ford Roadster Pickups from 1928 - 1934. Extra holes have been drilled to allow for the differences in body and windshield dimensions, and to allow for stock or chopped windshields. The header board comes pre-cut and formed, to be drilled on the Top Irons have been mounted to the windshield. The top bows are made in three sections, comprising of two rounded ends and a straight center piece, which is supplied longer than necessary, to be cut to length on the top irons to be fitted to the vehicle. This section then slides over two sleeves that protrude from the rounded ends, to complete the formation of the top bows. The kit is manufactured of steel, the header board is of premium hardwood, has stainless steel fasteners and is supplied with fitting instructions. The top can be lifted off in one piece, or folded down like original. Once mounted, the top irons are ready to go to the upholstery shop.
