It is important when fitting sheet metal to your car to FIRST fit before painting or drilling any holes. Many times it it necessary to use C-Clamps, vise grips or a drift pin to locate holes for alignment. In order to secure a proper fit and alignment , it is normally necessary to loosen all attaching sheet metal parts. Some reworking may be necessary as parts may come from different suppliers or new parts versus 50 year old parts are placed together. Some metal parts may have been treated with oil or may still have residue from forming oils. It is necessary to thoroughly clean the metal with a metal prep or solution to remove all oils and / or fingerprints before painting. Fenders listed are not always available.
