With Safety in mind, the Hi-Boy Filter System is positioned above the carburetor to prevent any excess gas caused by over choking the carburetor from wicking into the filter element. Other styles where the filter element is below the carburetor .... one spark from a backfire and ....! The filter element also stays cleaner longer in this position. For Efficiency, a quality pre-oiled cotton filter element is used allowing for at least 55% more air flow than is required for the standard or slightly modified Model "A" Engine. The filter will not need replacing as it can be washed and reused.

Mount this tool on the front spindle or rear axle secured by the axle nut. Set the adjustable finger on the tool just off the brake lining. Rotate the tool around the circumference of the brake shoes. The finger must be the same distance off the shoes all the way around. If not, the shoes will not completely contact the drum. If say the top half of the shoes to finger gap is larger than the bottom, then use a crescent wrench to make the adjustment. Slide the wrench over the roller track ear and bend both ears down. Reverse the bend if the gap is in the bottom half.

This is a brand new Model A Crank Counter Slung Crankshaft. Made out of Non Twist Steel. They have been designed to Ford Spec's and tested in the USA, but are made overseas. With a correctly prepared block the crankshaft can be dropped in without any modifications. The manufacturer does recommend removing 10 pounds from the O.D. of the flywheel. This would require rebalancing, but does not have to be done in order to install the crankshaft.
