Standard Laminated fiber timing gear. The two dowel pin holes in the gear are off center. If the gear will not slide onto the dowels entirely, then rotate the gear 180 Degrees for a proper fit. A good idea would be to enlarge the timing pin holes with a 5/16"" bit to make it a bit easier to locate. Check and check again, that the timing marks line up on the crankshaft gear and the camshaft gear.
